Monarch Dunes Golf Club (12.1 miles) Monarch Dunes is located along the Central California Coast, just south of San Luis Obispo in Nipomo, CA. Monarch Dunes features both the award-winning championship "Old Course" as well as the newly opened 12-hole Challenge Course, both designed by Damian Pascuzzo & Steve Pate. Both courses were uniquely created to test your skills and tempt your senses.
Avila Beach Golf Resort (14.5 miles) The Avila Beach Golf Resort a seaside resort located on the Central Coast of California 3 miles off Highway 101 between San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach. Nestled in the surrounding hills and on the bay, the resort includes a par 71, 6500-yard championship course. The front nine is situated within oak-lined valleys. The back nine transverses a tidal estuary. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy the challenge of this scenic course.
Dairy Creek Golf Course (26.4 miles) Dairy Creek Golf Course is the newest of the three courses operated by the County of San Luis Obispo. Strung "links-like" on El Chorro Regional Park land just east of Highway 1 between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, it boasts some incredible elevation changes, forced carries over water and rocky arroyos. The bentgrass greens will put the steadiest stroke to the test. Add tricky sea breezes whipping around nearby Hollister Peak and suddenly you've got a 6,548-yard course to be reckoned with.
Sea Pines Golf Resort (27.6 miles) Sea Pines Golf Resort is nestled among grand old pine, cypress and eucalyptus trees at the southern tip of Morro Bay, and is bordered by ocean dunes, bay views, picturesque Montaña de Oro State Park and the charming villages of Los Osos and Baywood Park.
Morro Bay Golf Course (31.7 miles) The number one "must play" golf course on the central coast, Morro Bay is a favorite among seniors, juniors and anyone who wants to feel they're playing a Pebble Beach-like track at a fraction of the cost. On a clear day, the tree lined fairways and ocean views are stunning, so bring your camera! Situated inside Morro Bay State Park and Estuary the course is located just 12 miles Northwest of San Luis Obispo, California along Highway 1.
Chalk Mountain Golf Course (35 miles) Located in Atascadero, Chalk Mountain Golf Course is one of the areas premier golf destinations. First opened in 1980, the golf course is situated amongst ancient and mature oak trees, sweeping hills, and a meandering creek. Chalk Mountain is a fun and challenging course for all levels of golfers.
La Purisma Golf Course (47.4 miles) Come see for yourself why Golf Digest tabbed La Purisima as the 33rd Toughest Golf Course in America and the third toughest in California. They even went as far as to acknowledge the name the locals have called La Purisima for years... La Piranha!
